In photocatalytic oxidation reactions, ultraviolet light irradiation on the nano-TiO2 photocatalyst generates electron-hole pairs, which react with surface-adsorbed water (H2O) and oxygen (O2) to produce highly reactive hydroxyl radicals (OH-) and superoxide radical anions (O2-, O-).

In photocatalytic oxidation reactions, ultraviolet light irradiation on the nano-TiO2 photocatalyst generates electron-hole pairs, which react with water (H2O) and oxygen (O2) adsorbed on the surface to produce highly reactive hydroxyl radicals (OH-) and superoxide radical ions (O2-, O-).

It can reduce various odorous waste gases—such as aldehydes, benzene compounds, ammonia, nitrogen oxides, sulfides, and other VOCs—as well as inorganic substances—into carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O), and other non-toxic and harmless substances under the action of photocatalytic oxidation. At the same time, it possesses deodorizing, disinfecting, and sterilizing effects. Since no additives are used during the photocatalytic oxidation process, no secondary pollution is generated.

After the malodorous gases are drawn into this odor treatment equipment via exhaust ventilation systems, the purification equipment uses high-energy UV ultraviolet light beams and ozone to carry out a synergistic decomposition and oxidation reaction on the malodorous gases. As a result, the malodorous gas components are broken down into low-molecular compounds, water, and carbon dioxide, which are then discharged outdoors through exhaust ducts.

Industrial VOC exhaust gas absorption and purification units, chemical odor-control devices, enclosed and covered odor-collection systems for sewage ponds, suspended-membrane sealing systems, and other similar products have been successfully deployed in various sectors including the pharmaceutical industry, petrochemicals, food and feed processing, municipal services, environmental sanitation, and wastewater treatment, earning widespread recognition and high praise from our customers.

The mechanism of this method involves utilizing the bactericidal and disinfecting effects of chlorine to remove organic matter from water and eliminate algae. It also disinfects the water body, maintaining a certain residual chlorine level to ensure effective sterilization. Pre-disinfection by adding chlorine to the incoming water network is employed to control odors.

The residual H2O2 in wastewater will decompose into water and oxygen without forming any substances harmful to human health when it reacts with organic matter present in the wastewater.

High-energy UV beams are used to break the molecular bonds of bacteria in odorous gases, thereby damaging their nucleic acids (DNA). Subsequently, an oxidation reaction is carried out using ozone, thoroughly achieving the goals of odor removal and bacterial elimination.

The odor control equipment can efficiently remove major pollutants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), inorganic substances, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, thiols, and various malodorous odors, with a deodorization efficiency of over 99%.

No additional substances are required: The odor-gas treatment equipment only needs to be equipped with appropriate exhaust ducts and a ventilation power source. This allows the odorous gases to pass through the equipment for deodorization, decomposition, and purification without the need to add any substances to participate in chemical reactions.

Three Things You Must Pay Attention to When Installing Exhaust Gas Treatment Equipment

When installing environmental protection technology equipment, there are actually three key things our installation team must get right: First, ensure precise alignment with the centerline; second, pay close attention to horizontal levelness; and third, adjust for any deviations in elevation. If these three aspects are handled correctly and thoroughly, installing exhaust gas treatment equipment will become remarkably straightforward.
