Catalytic oxidation technology is not used in isolation for the treatment of rubber exhaust gases. In actual treatment processes, it is essential to employ a combination of multiple treatment methods in order to achieve the most effective exhaust gas treatment. In treatment processes that primarily rely on catalytic oxidation technology, the overall gas treatment flow involves first collecting and pre-treating the exhaust gases, then condensing them, followed by catalytic oxidation, and finally discharging the treated gases once they meet the emission standards.
Catalytic combustion exhaust gas treatment
The flue gas treatment technology process is:
(1) The waste gases generated at the feed inlet and the outlet of the extruder are collected. At this stage, the flash vapor enters a primary condensation process. During condensation, condensate is produced, which is then collected via a special method for subsequent treatment.
(2) This is a secondary condensation process, meaning that further condensation is carried out on the basis of the previous stage’s condensation to enhance the effectiveness of the condensation treatment. During this process, cyclohexane is generated. As a chemical feedstock, cyclohexane can be collected and reused. By this point, the exhaust gases from the first two stages have already undergone thorough condensation. Next, in the mist removal process, the exhaust gases generated during the pneumatic conveying of solids and the drying of particles by hot air are collected and subjected to centralized mist removal. In the mist removal process, filling oil used in rubber production is also produced; this oil can be collected and reused as well. At this stage, all exhaust gases have been fully collected.
(3) The collected waste gas is heated via a steam heat exchanger. This heating step enhances the efficiency of catalytic oxidation. After the heated waste gas undergoes catalytic oxidation, it is circulated once more to transfer the residual heat—carried by the cooled gas—to the untreated portion of the waste gas. This process effectively reduces energy consumption and saves on thermal energy costs. Once the waste gas has been treated through multiple catalytic oxidation reactions with metal catalysts under atmospheric pressure in the presence of oxidizing agents such as oxygen from the air, it can meet the emission standards set by chemical enterprises and be released into the atmosphere. Alternatively, the treated gas can be fed into a hot-air drying system, where its residual heat is utilized for drying purposes. This treatment approach significantly lowers production costs. Exploration of Catalyst Selection for Low-Temperature SCR Denitrification in Coking Processes
As the national environmental emission standards continue to tighten, NOx emissions are receiving increasing attention from both the government and the industry, and denitrification methods centered on selective catalytic reduction (SCR) are becoming a prevailing trend.

Three Things You Must Pay Attention to When Installing Exhaust Gas Treatment Equipment
When installing environmental protection technology equipment, there are actually three key things our installation team must get right: First, ensure precise alignment with the centerline; second, pay close attention to horizontal levelness; and third, adjust for any deviations in elevation. If these three aspects are handled correctly and thoroughly, installing exhaust gas treatment equipment will become remarkably straightforward.
